Karen's Massage Sanctuary believes in providing safe, confidential, nurturing environments for our clients because we believe that massage is meant to provide 60-minutes or 90-minutes or more of precious time during which to slip out of our stressful lives and into an environment designed for 'recharging the chargables'; in other words, out of 'strive'-mode and into complete relax-mode.
Once we are in complete relax-mode, we begin "re-thinking ourselves anew again". I believe that it is indeed true that, as Emerson wrote "a man is what he thinks about all day", and I would add to Emerson's statement that "once a person is made aware that he is what he thinks about all day; that person can then choose what to think about all day"; therefore; "that person must allow some time each month (or every 2 weeks) for deep, unfettered self-reflection, time for 'being/becoming.'"
